Formal terms of service are being prepared with counsel. Until they are published, use of Sympos is governed by the terms below.

• Academic use. Sympos is for coursework and learning. Use it within your institution's academic integrity policies.
• Your content stays yours. Instructors own their course materials; students own their work. We host and process them to run the service, per our privacy commitments.
• Pilot service. Sympos is under active development. We work hard to keep it reliable, and we communicate directly with every pilot class about changes that affect them.
• Questions first. If anything here is unclear for your institution, contact us and we will resolve it before you commit.
